Clinical Supervision with Casey.
Hiya! If you are on this page, I am assuming you are an LPC Associate. Welcome! My name is Casey and I am an LPC-S.
Are you currently looking for supervision? Do you have interests in learning about working with adolescents, adults, or people going through the perinatal journey? Are you interested in learning more about using CBT in the perinatal journey? Wondering how to use Sandtray in your therapy sessions? Curious to know more about using ART (accelerated resolution therapy)? Do you need help processing cases? If so, I can help you.
Who am I?
I am a Board Approved Supervisor for Licensed Professional Counselor Associates who are working towards their 3,000 experience hours (with a minimum of 1,500 being direct hours). Our supervision will be based on the rules established by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council and Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.
I have over 15 years of experience in counseling. 10 of those years were working in the schools as a Middle School Counselor (one year as a high school counselor) and the other 5 I have been self-employed in my own private practice. In Graduate School, I worked as an Academic Advisor for Exploratory Students.
I have a very strong passion of working with adolescents and people going through the perinatal journey. I use a wide variety of interventions to meet my clients where they are at: Sandtray, Bullet Journaling, Art, talk therapy etc. My counseling theoretical orientations are Solution Focused & CBT. I will be training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy late in the summer and cannot wait to start using it.
Selecting YOUR Supervisor
When selecting your supervisor, I believe that rapport (just like when working with your potential clients) is the most important thing. I offer a free consultation for you to get to a sense of who I am and what I have to offer. Come meet me and see what I am like. Tell me about YOUR goals in this LPC Associate journey that YOU are wanting to achieve. Talk to me about what YOU are looking for in a supervisor. Supervision is not about me fulfilling my needs, but for the YOU to get YOUR needs fulfilled to be the best possible therapist you can be.
My Role
My role as their Supervisor is to guide YOU through the LPC Associate journey to becoming an LPC. I am here to be YOUR teacher, counselor and consultant. I want to meet YOU where YOU are at. I hope to establish a great rapport, work collaboratively, support YOU and build trust with YOU.
I also will:

I am excited to be a clinical supervisor and to help LPC Associates as they reach for their goals. I strongly believe that this is my way to give back to our community of mental health professionals and to be an influence.
